The real Ammy an' Kiwi
Ammy is the real-life strawberry blonde character in the Adventures of Ammy and Kiwi book series. Kiwi is a heeler/chocolate lab mix. She got the adorable name "Kiwi" for being brown on the outside and green on the inside (her eyes of course)! She was a source of comfort and always gave big doggie smiles!
The Legacy Lives On
Ms. Jamie's grandmother largely inspired her to continue the art of making a good story. She was a master at telling made-up bedtime stories on the fly that were full of imagination, adventure, and a call to action. May this legacy live on, one book at a time.
